Het plein naast de Marekerk in De Meern, hier zie je een leuke fontein, je denkt dat hij uit is maar dan ineens is het bal, kinderen vermaken zich er prima in en volwassenen natuurlijk ook de stralen gaan van groot naar klein het vermaak is niet nat te worden las je er tussen door loopt
Het plein is één van de vernieuwingen in het centrum van De Meern. Bij de aanleg ervan vorig jaar doken er funderingen van middeleeuwse bouwwerken op, en naast de kerk werden botresten gevonden. Nu ligt er een strak plein, met bomen, bankjes en een fontein.

The square is one of the innovations in the centre of De Meern. During its construction last year, foundations of medieval structures turned up, and bone remains were found next to the church. Now there is a neat square, with trees, benches and a fountain.
