This fine little fishing pond is in Hunter Park. The pond is part of Oklahoma's "Close to Home" fishing program, which promotes fishing in urban areas. There are four small fenced piers that jut out into the water, and all were in use by fishing people on the day of my visit. Both a state and a city permit are required to fish here. Rules, regulations, and daily limits are posted at the pond. There is plenty of parking here, and you can walk on the sidewalk all the way to your desired fishing spot.
