A larger than life-size frog, wearing a pair of glass is sitting with its front legs on the edge of a book. The book text reads:

Once upon a time there was a big juicy fly. On the second page is a picture of a fly.

This sculpture of a toad is one of eight in Bastrop. The frog sculptures in various poses are meant to draw attention to the fact that the "Houston Toad" is an endangered species.
