Palacio de los marqueses de Torreorgaz - Cáceres, Extremadura, España - Gothic Architecture on Waymarking.com

This palace was built in the fifteenth century on an old building owned by Diego García de Ulloa, the commander of Alcuéscar. His descendants ordered it to be reformed over the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries. Therefore, it is a mix of different artistic styles from the Gothic onward, of which several doors and windows are preserved and the tower itself, to the main façade, with a large balcony and a triangular pediment, and, above it, a large crest of the Marquises of Torreorgaz, with the barracks of Ulloa, Carvajal, Aponte, Zúñiga, and Córdoba, the owners of the palace.
The Parador de Turismo de Cáceres Hotel has been installed in this palace and the adjoining one, the House of Ovando-Mogollón, Perero, y Paredes.

Recommendations: It is worth a visit to the interior common areas of the Palace, as well as its beautiful garden.
