Hi - In letterboxing, waymarking, and in Ingress (augmented reality mobile game similar to Pokemon Go), I go by the moniker "Lightnin Bug". For some odd reason, there is now a trail officially named after me.

About 9 yrs ago when I got my garmin gps watch for Christmas in 2012, I decided to map the trails on South Mountain (part of the South Mountain Nature Preserve). I ported these trails to Open Street Maps, trying to retain the names of the trails that were on preserve paper brochures. There was one trail that was not yet named, so as a joke I named it the "Bug Trail" as it got buggy in the summer and my letterboxing trail name is 'LightninBug'. It was a joke meant only for me. Anyway, the Wildlands Conservancy apparently used much of my mapping (and also mapped some of their newer trails) and adapted this and took the joke name of the "Bug Trail" and made it official. This unknowingly honored yours truly by officially naming the trail the "Bug Trail". There is a fancy sign placard.
