This is a 23-foot, 5,000 pound steel sculpture. It is named for the bent steel beam at the top of the sculpture, which was created using cables and pulleys. The sculpture was originally created in 1976 for the Dallas Museum of Art. In 2017, it was donated to the Jindal School by an anonymous donor. The Big Bend Comes to UT Dallas - Naveen Jindal School of Management
