De Kaasbel ziet er bijzonder uit en dat is het ook. De Kaasbel is in 1925 geplaatst ter ere van het vijftigjarig bestaan van de Woerdense Kaasmarkt. Het is niet zomaar een bel, nee, de Kaasbel heeft echt een functie. Op de Kaasbel werd aangegeven hoeveel kaas er was aangevoerd en wat de prijs hiervan was. Wat ook nog leuk is om te weten is dat de gegevens van de kaasmarkt in Bodegraven op de kaasbel werden genoteerd. Woerden en Bodegraven waren elkaars grootste concurrenten en daarbij ook de leiders in de kaasmarkten.
