This memorial Celtic cross commemorates the men of Skinningrove that died in the First World War

The cross is in front of a row of bungalows on the road that leads down to the sea front at Skinningrove.
The cross stands on a two step base and the carved head of the cross has a small sword of sacrifice.
Above the base which has a list of names there is a wreath.
Below the names is the following inscription.
IN LOVING MEMORY OF SKINNINGROVE MEN
WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR COUNTRY
"PASS NOT THIS STONE IN SORROW, BUT IN PRIDE,
AND MAY YE LIVE AS NOBLY AS THEY DIED"
