The Memorial stands in the Northwest section of the Federal Plaza, downtown Youngstown. The polished black granite monument is approximately 8'tall X 6" wide x 1foot thick. The etching on side A are the seals of the military branches of the United States, and an outline of the country of Vietnam. "1959 -1975 Vietnam War, This memorial is dedicated by the people of Mahoning County to honor forever those who served, those who gave their lives, and those who remain missing in action.
