The Palacio de la Prensa, designed in 1924 by the architect Pedro Muguruza, is one of the most significant buildings built in the first half of the 20th century in Madrid. A singular work due to its scale, its determined monumental vocation and its constructive characteristics, it constitutes a good example of eclectic architecture in its final phases, which gathers influences from great Spanish architects such as Antonio Palacios or Modesto López Otero and from the American architecture of The time.
