Ter hoogte van Lapscheure ligt op de Damse Vaart een zelf te bedienen overzetbootje, Kobus genaamd. Dit overzetbootje verbindt Hoeke met Lapscheure en wordt in de zomer vaak gebruikt door fietsers en wandelaars die hiermee op een originele manier de Damse Vaart kunnen oversteken.
