Juan Guerrero and Drew Leinonen were a current and former student, respectively, at the University of Central Florida. In 2016, they were among the 49 victims of the 2016 shooting at the nightclub Pulse.
This mural, located on the side of the UCF Student Union, is dedicated to both Guerrero and Leinonen in specific (featuring their likenesses and input from their family members) as well as the victims of the shooting in general.

A tribute to Drew and Juan, who were killed at the Pulse nightclub, this mural depicts the couple holding books to represent their time as students at UCF. The families of Drew and Juan collaborated on the mural, adding their handprints over the hearts and books of their loved ones. The mural also includes 49 birds, representing each of the people killed on June 12, 2016.
