Historique

Longtemps habité, le phare a fini par fermer ses portes «il y a une trentaine d’années», et ne peut pas se visiter aujourd’hui. «En 2012, l’île a été acquise par le conservatoire national du littoral. On peut espérer qu’il mène une politique de mise en valeur des vestiges archéologiques et de sauvegarde de la flore méditerranéenne», appelle de ses vœux le chargé de mission patrimoine.
