"Boncourt, now the hamlet of Fléchin, was once a parish and still has its church dedicated to Saint Pierre.

The building was greatly altered in the 18th century, but bears the dates of 1586 and 1682 engraved in stone. It suffered the horrors of the Revolution and was sold to a man named Patou who undertook to unpave it in the hope of finding a treasure under its choir. When he wanted to dismantle the bell, the parishioners objected and he ended up selling the church.

Inside the church. there is a funerary slab of blue stone inlaid with copper dated 1459. It represents a knight dressed in his armour. This small church also houses the oldest bell in Pas-de-Calais, cast in 1400."
