Molen de Windhond is een historische en waardevol kenmerk voor de stad Woerden.
De Windhond is een ronde stenen molen die in 1755 in Woerden is gebouwd. Vandaag de dag is de molen goed onderhouden en is het een belangrijk onderdeel van het stadsgezicht.
De molen staat op één van de laatste stukjes stadswal, die oorspronkelijk deel uit maakte van een bastion, behorend bij de stadswallen van het oude Woerden. De Windhond heeft een vlucht van 25,2 meter. In 1984 is de molen gerestaureerd en vandaag de dag is deze als korenmolen nog steeds in gebruik. Het meel van de molen wordt op diverse verkooppunten. Daarnaast is bij een aantal bakkers brood met meel van de molen te koop. Het interieur van de molen is grotendeels in authentieke staat. Vanaf april 2017 is de molen en molenaar lid van het Ambachtelijk Korenmolenaarsgilde. Samen met collega molenaars wordt binnen het AKG ervaringen en kennis gedeeld. De molenaar woont in de woning onderin de molen.
