The two buildings were constructed in 1863 and joined by a gateway are all that remains of Sladen House which was demolished in 1940. It appears one was the stable and the other the coach house. Both buildings are of coursed bluestone and have rusticated quoins and low slate roofs with wide eaves. The round vents are one of the features of the buildings.
