1972 - Het eerste KFC-restaurant opent in Nederland - in Rotterdam om precies te zijn. Inmiddels heeft KFC meer dan tachtig restaurants in Nederland! En daar blijft het niet bij. Zij hebben de ambitie om nog veel meer restaurants te openen.
Het KFC restaurant in Gouda ligt aan de Harderwijkerweg 1, tegenover (of naast) restaurant de Beren, vlak bij de afrit 11 op de A12 bij Gouda.
Goed nieuws voor de liefhebbers van de bitterbal:
"Amsterdam, 16 maart 2021 - Vanaf vandaag zijn de oer-Hollandse kip bitterballen van KFC in het diepvriesvak van Albert Heijn te vinden. Hiermee brengt KFC voor het eerst een product uit de restaurants naar de Nederlandse supermarkt. Bij de lancering is er in de winkels en online keuze uit twee varianten: de Crunchy Kip Bitterballen en de Spicy Kip Zinger Bitterballen. De kip bitterballen van KFC dragen het 1 ster Beter Leven keurmerk van de Dierenbescherming.
Vorig jaar stonden de Spicy Kip Zinger bitterballen al op de menukaart bij alle KFC restaurants in Nederland. Aan de oer-Hollandse borrelhap werd de herkenbare KFC-twist gegeven door deze op smaak te brengen met de welbekende Spicy Kip Zinger en Original Recipe kruiden. Fijnproevers die hun favoriete snack niet willen missen, kunnen hun hart ophalen. Want dankzij deze introductie zijn de kip bitterballen nu gemakkelijk thuis te bereiden in de oven of airfryer. Ze komen in - hoe kan het ook anders - buckets van 10 stuks."

1972 - The first KFC restaurant opens in the Netherlands - in Rotterdam to be precise. KFC now has more than eighty restaurants in the Netherlands! And that's not all. They have the ambition to open many more restaurants.
The KFC restaurant in Gouda is located at Harderwijkerweg 1, opposite (or next to) restaurant De Beren, near exit 11 on the A12 near Gouda.
Good news for bitterbal lovers:
"Amsterdam, March 16, 2021 - As of today, the traditional Dutch chicken bitterballen from KFC can be found in the freezer section of Albert Heijn. With this, KFC is bringing a product from the restaurants to the Dutch supermarket for the first time. At launch, there will be a choice of two variants in stores and online: the Crunchy Kip Bitterballen and the Spicy Kip Zinger Bitterballen. The chicken bitterballen from KFC bear the 1 star Better Life quality mark of the Animal Protection.
Last year the Spicy Kip Zinger bitterballen were already on the menu at all KFC restaurants in the Netherlands. The typical Dutch snack was given the recognizable KFC twist by seasoning it with the well-known Spicy Chicken Zinger and Original Recipe herbs. Gourmets who do not want to miss out on their favorite snack can indulge themselves. Because thanks to this introduction, the chicken bitterballen can now easily be prepared at home in the oven or airfryer. They come in - how could it be otherwise - buckets of 10 pieces."
