This park allows hiking, camping, fishing, boating, swimming, picnicking, mountain biking, horseback riding, skiing, ice skating, and snowmobiling. Included are a visitor center, High Point Monument, lakes, trails including the Appalachian Trail, cross country ski center, playground, food concessions, and bathhouse.
The land for the park was donated by Col. Anthony R. and Susie Dryden Kuser.
It was designed by the Olmsted Brothers and designated a park in 1923.
Fees: Entrance fees are charged per vehicle from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day.
