Ernie Hall, a resident of Trumbull County, learned to fly from the Wright Brothers. He opened a flight school in Pennsylvania in 1915 and trained pilots for World War I in Virginia and Texas. He then opened a flying school in Warren, Ohio.
The museum bearing his name was opened in 2014.
