Fra Munkebo bakke er der en fornem udsigt til både Odense Fjord og Kertinge nor mod syd. Skuret med informationer om nyere tid og vikingebebyggelsen på bakken er opført i 2021. Tårnet på Loddenhøjen er bygget i 1993 til erstatning for det gamle udsigtstårn fra 1890´erne. Øverst på muren har den lokale kunstner Finn Bjørnholt lavet kakler, der viser, hvorfor Munkebo er verdens navle. Med stor skrift nærmest en, står de nære steder som Lindø Port of Odense og Kølstrup Kirke, mens de fjernere steder som f.eks. Mexico står med lille skrift.
