The bowling club in the Angus town of Brechin was established in 1862 and their green was constructed amidst Victorian housing to the north of the town centre.

The green is sandwiched between Argyll Street to the west, and the narrower St Andrew Street to the east, with entrances off both streets. The clubhouse runs along the northern side of the green.
