Tämä majakkalaiva rakennettiin Hietalahden telakalla Helsingissä vuonna 1885 ja se sai nimen Helsingkallan. Laivan myöhemmät nimet olivat ensin Varamajakka I (1937-1944) ja Snipan (1945-1960). Poistuttuaan palveluksesta se oli hetken aikaa troolarina kunnes siirtyi huvialukseksi. Rautarunkoinen laiva on 26 metriä pitkä ja sen uppouma on 178 tonnia. Laiva on uponnut pohjaan ja se on selkeästi näkyvissä pinnalle.
This lightvessel was built in Helsinki year 1885 and it was named Helsingkallan. Its later names were first Varamajakka I (1937-1944) and then Snipan (1945-1960). After it was removed from duty it served a while as a fishing boat until it became a recreational ship. It is made of steel, it is 26 meters long and weights 178 tons. The ship is sunk to the bottom but it is clearly visible to surface.
