Erected by the citizens of Juniata to honor the women and men that served during World War I. The Granite memorial features a Doughboy holding a flag standing on the 7' tall, four-sided base that has "Juniata's Tribute to Honor" engraved on all four sides. Each of the four sides have a bronze plaque container the "Honor Roll" with the names of those being honored, the names with a star made the supreme sacrifice. Also, each side has a bronze medallion with a seal of one service branch, U.S. Infantry, Marine, Navy, and Red Cross.

"Erected by citizens of Juniata in honor of the young men and the young women of this town, who served in the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps and with the American Red Cross in the Great War of 1917-1918.
Stars indicate the names of those who made the Supreme Sacrifice for liberty."
