A country park with adequate space for vehicles and a circular path round the pool. Lots of paths through woods and a visitor centre. Closes roughly at sunset so different times apply in Winter time from Summer time. Car parking is by pay and display. Permits for fishermen are chargeable. Waste bins available for dog walkers. Much wildlife on the water and in the trees. A mixture of deciduous and some conifers. A nature trail for children of all ages. Dogs can swim in the pool or wallow in the shallow brook. Take towels to clean off as the dirty sand gets into your car.
Level of Enclosure: Partially Enclosed
