In this font from the 17-18th century, this cherub is found on top, looking like an angelic child.
It is on a tower that is a symbol of Castro, a fortress in Vigo and that is part of its coat of arms.
Angelote is looking into space showing that he witnessed the French troops who were defeated in the Battle of the Reconquest of Vigo.
Allthe complex is in granite.
