"The building was designed in two stages. In 1875, Alejandro Rodríguez Sesmero signed a ground floor and two floors; and in 1908 Jenaro de la Fuente Domínguez signed the addition to the third floor, after the purchase of the building by Manuel Rodríguez Rodríguez.

Building originally built for residential use, it currently houses the headquarters of the Community Fisheries Agency.

The building shows an early eclecticism. However, it contains characteristics of what would later be a constant in the city, during full eclecticism: composition of a symmetrical facade, differentiation of each of the floors by the placement of moldings on the impost lines, reinforced by the presence of balconies continuous or individual, change of ornamentation on each floor centered on lintels and false keystones, formal variations of the openings, progressive incorporation of corbels, which increasingly receive more decorative attention, increased freedom in the ornamental repertoire and absolute preference for the stonework.

In the composition of this façade, the central body stands out above the rest, separated by means of pilasters that change order on each floor and the shape of the openings in semicircular arches.

The use of plant decoration stands out as ornamental elements, accompanied by scrolls and pineapples or surfaces that imitate them.
The building is crowned with a powerful balustrade interrupted by a breastplate, which marks the central body.
The lateral facade receives less attention.

Ana:

The building was promoted by Manuel Odriozola. Later, the property was acquired by the wealthy emigrant from Porriñés Manuel Rodríguez Rodríguez (promoter of the Bonín building). He hires Jenaro de la Fuente Domínguez to carry out the project to increase a plant.

On the new floor, Jenaro de la Fuente proposes an ornamentation and a type of opening different from the other two, following the criteria of the first architect."
