Beum Cemetery, just across the road, was established in 1901 on land owned by E.M. Beum, and the local community was given that name. This "Little Red Schoolhouse" was constructed in about 1925. The schoolhouse has been partially restored (note that the north side of the roof is new, while the south side is not) but is in only fair condition at this time. A "Little Red Outhouse" is behind the school. The outhouse is also in disrepair; the door is off and the rest of the structure is in only fair condition. It has been "modernized" with a concrete floor and a modern porcelain toilet. There is even TP available, if you are bold enough to try it.
There does not appear to be a web site for the school, but a page about Beum Cemetery (linked below) gives some information.
How many holes?: One Hole
