This torch is displayed in the Penn State All Sports Museum, located in Beaver Stadium. This can be found on the second floor of the museum.
Herman Goffberg, who competed in the 1948 Olympics games in London, carried this symbolic torch through the streets of Erie, PA on June 11, 1996 as part of the torch lighting ceremonies bringing the ceremonial torch from Barcelona to Atlanta for the 1996 summer Olympic Games.
