In 1903 a corner of the William Blakely homestead was donated for the burial of Thomas Morris Alexander. Mt. Olive Methodist Episcopal Church soon followed, with land deeded to the church in 1910. While the date of actual construction is not known, it is probably that the church was built c. 1910, making it a little over a hundred years old. The cemetery has about two hundred and twenty grave sites, with the Alexander family well represented. More information can be found at okcemeteries.net and findagrave.com.
