Djurvilan is a Pet cemetery located in a forest on the outskirts of Ronneby.
The pet cemetery has existed since 1976. Small pets such as dogs, cats, hamsters and guinea pigs are buried here. However, they must be cremated.
The tombs are very different with flowers and other decorations. Here are homemade tombstones but also fine marble tombstones with engraved letters. An example of an engraved tombstone is this:
The guinea pigs Hanne 6 1/2 years and her son Per 4 1/2 years. Beloved and missed.
