This Analemmatic sundial, #386 in the NASS register of sundials, is located in the herb garden at the entrance to Mr. Cason's Vegetable Garden in Callaway Gardens, near Pine Mountain Georgia. A sign explains how to use the sundial.
We visited at 11:45 on a sunny morning and obtained a very accurate reading.
Callaway Gardens, a beautiful 13,000 acre garden, golf, recreation, conference and resort area is open 9 AM to 5 or 6 PM, year round. There is an admission charge if you are not staying at one of the lodgings operated by Callaway. Maps of the gardens are available at the entrance and at all the facilities.
