The first spring house by the old spring was built in 1726. The water in the spring contains iron and is considered healthy, The spring house has been renewed and the current building has been restored a few times. It is the oldest building in Brunnsparken. The spring house is open during the summer period.
Brunnsparken was a health resort where people came and lived for a few weeks. The iron-containing water in the area was used to cure several diseases.
Ronneby Brunnspark was named Sweden's most beautiful park in 2005.
It has its origins in the early 18th century, although its main infrastructure was created at the end of the 19th.
It can be visited for free all year round and consists of several different sections such as rose garden, Japanese garden, pergola and fragrance garden, lakes, fountains, picnic areas and more.
The park originally started as a health resort due to the very ferrous and healthy water. Many of the old buildings still exist and help to give the park its distinctive character.
