The 9/11 Memorial consists of polished black granite markers containing the names of those who perished in the attacks and a history of the WTC.

There are remnants from both the World Trade Center and from the Pentagon.

The Pentagon fragment carries an accompanying description; the I beam does not. It is a silent testimony.

The memorial is available for viewing at any time.

From the Pentagon Stone: This piece of stone came from the western face of the Pentagon Wall after the horrific attacks of 9/11/2001. It is presented to the Brevard County Fire Department. The Main Marker: Dedicated to those who fell and those who carry on. The original World Trade Center was a complex of seven buildings featuring landmark twin towers in Lower Manhattan, New York City. The complex opened in April 4, 1973 and was destroyed in 2001 during the September 11 attacks. The site is being rebuilt with 6 new skyscrapers and a memorial to the casualties of the attacks. at the time of their completion, 1 & 2 World Trade Center were the tallest buildings in the world, surpassing the Empire State Building, also in Manhattan.... ... This memorial is dedicated to all of the Firefighters who gave their lives on September 11, 2001. You will forever live in our hearts and minds. BREVARD COUNTY FIRE AND RESCUE
