The life size bronze sculpture is of two US soldiers sitting on a pile of rubble. Located at the intersection of East Penn Street and South Juliana Street.

The sculpture sets on a large base with six panels containing the names of Bedford County Heroes that were KIA/MIA during World War II. The face of one of the soldiers is that of Ellis Weicht, an Everett, PA (Bedford County) veteran and a Medal of Honor Recipient from WWII.
