Hautaan on haudattu useampi Koroinen suvun jäsen. Maarian kirkon viereen ei ole haudattu kuin merkittäviä ihmisiä. Kirkon varsinainen hautausmaa on kauempana. Taideteos on hyvin tyypillinen muotoilultaan, mutta yhtä kookkaana sen tapaisia ei kovin usein näe Suomessa. Hautojen yhteydessä on useimmiten jokin pieni veistos tai hautakivi on koristeltu.

Aivan kiviaidan kyljessä, Maunu Tavastin kadun tuntumassa Koroisten sukuhauta kertoo seudun vanhasta maatilasta. Haudassa lepäävät Matti Heikinpoika (1848–1927) ja hänen Koroisissa syntynyt vaimonsa Johanna Matintytär (1855–1887). Matti ja Johanna ottivat sukunimekseen tilan nimen. Johanna kuoli synnytykseen, ja Matti avioitui hänen sisarensa, Serafia Matintyttären (1863–1951), kanssa. Heidän tyttärensä Sally Valpurin (1989–1977) aviomies, rymättyläläissyntyinen Frans Eemil Laine (1892–1959) ja vielä Ulla Maria joka on viimeisenä kuollut (1921-2017) jatkoi alueen peltojen viljelyä ja perusti Koroisten kauppapuutarhan. Haudan ääressä surevan tytön patsas on Kaino Karttusen käsialaa.

[EN] Bronze statue of little girl on Koroinen family grave. In the work, the little girl is sitting on her knees and covering her face with her hands. Several members of the Koroinen family are buried in the grave. There are only significant people buried next to St. Mary's Church. The actual cemetery of the church is further away. A work of art is very typical in its design, but it is not often seen in Finland as this large. Connected art with graves; there is usually just a small sculpture or a tombstone decorated.

Right on the side of the stone fence, near Maunu Tavasti Street, the Koroinen family grave tells history of an old farm in the area. Matti Heikinpoika (1848–1927) and his wife Johanna Matintytär (1855–1887), born in Koroinen, are buried in the grave. Matti and Johanna took the name of the farm as their surname. Johanna died in childbirth, and Matti married her sister, Seraphia Matintyttären (1863–1951). Their daughter Sally Valpuri's (1989–1977) husband, Frans Eemil Laine (1892–1959), a native of Rymättylä, and Ulla Maria, who died last (1921-2017), continued to cultivate the area's fields and set up the Koroinen Commercial Garden. The statue of the girl mourning at the grave is sculpted by Kaino Karttunen.
