Lookout Studio is located a short walk west of historic Bright Angel Lodge. It was designed in 1914 by Mary E. J. Colter as a gift shop and lookout point. It is sitting right at the edge of the South Rim, and it blends exceptionally well with its natural setting. Two lookout points are open in good weather but only one has a monocular.
