EN: Wikipedia Article on "Brundby Stubmølle on the danish island of Samsø from February 11th, 2022:

Brundby Stubmølle

Brundby Stubmølle (formerly Kolhøj Mølle) is a protected stub mill in Brundby, southeast of Tranebjerg on Samsø. It dates from the beginning of the 17th century and approximately at the same time as Bech's Stubmølle by Svaneke.

The mill was originally built on the island of Endelave between Samsø and Jutland.[1] In 1683, the mill - which was then in poor condition - was sold and moved to Samsø, where in 1817 it got its current location on Kolhøj.

The operation of the mill ceased in 1939, when the institution "Kolhøj Stubmølle" took over, and in 1961 it was protected, after which a restoration began with engineer Anders Jespersen, Nationalmuseet as leader. On 12 November 1983, it was transferred to "Brundby Stubmølles Ejerlav".[1]

The mill has a square mill body with vertical boards, the saddle roof is covered with straw.[2]
