“Circle of Life” is een cadeau van de Raad van Toezicht aan alle medewerkers van het St. Antonius Ziekenhuis.
“Circle of Life” stelt een mens voor (arts, patiënt) die de zon vasthoudt (bron van leven op aarde).
“Circle of Life” is onthuld kort na de onthulling op 15 november 2013 van een soortgelijk beeld voor de hoofdingang van het St. Antonius Ziekenhuis Utrecht. Door deze twee beelden zijn beide ziekenhuizen virtueel met elkaar verbonden.

“Circle of Life” is a gift from the Supervisory Board to all employees of the St. Antonius Hospital.
“Circle of Life” represents a human (doctor, patient) holding the sun (source of life on Earth).
“Circle of Life” was unveiled shortly after the unveiling on November 15, 2013 of a similar statue in front of the main entrance of St. Antonius Hospital Utrecht. Through these two images, both hospitals are virtually connected to each other.
