Although it's only 1566 metres in height (one of the more medium-sized peaks in the ACT), it takes a bit of work getting to. The views of Canberra and the surrounding district are spectacular from this vantage point and are worth the all-day hike.
The trig was burnt during the 2003 bushfires, but the concrete base and bolt is still there.
