Bjerkvik church is a long church built in concrete and painted white. It was completed in 1955. The church was designed by the architects Arnstein Arneberg and Per Solemslie. The church seats 320 people.
It is built where there was previously another church. The old church was destroyed during World War II.

The congregation in Bjerkvik church belongs to the Church of Norway. It is an evangelical Lutheran denomination of Protestant Christianity and by far the largest Christian church in Norway.
