esp: "Nos encontramos ante el blasón más presente en estas calles, perteneciente a uno de los linajes más representativos de la Villa. A lo largo del Conjunto Histórico varios edificios incorporan esta labra en su fachada, encontrándola también en la Plaza Mayor y en las lápidas sepulcrales de la lglesia.
Enmarcado por un bordón interrumpido por roleos y timbrado en la parte superior por un yelmo adornado con plumaje, en el cuartel izquierdo las armas de los 0ssorio, dos lobos rampantes, y en el derecho las de los Rodríguez de Sanabria, cuatro flores de lis dispuestas entre aspa o cruz de San Andrés, siendo éste el escudo actual de esta Villa. Como miembro más destacado de esta familia, Mer Rodríguez de Sanabria, escudero del Rey Don Pedro I "El Cruel".".

Throughout the Historical Complex, several buildings incorporate this carving on their façade, also finding it in the Plaza Mayor and on the tombstones of the Church.
Framed by a staff interrupted by scrolls and stamped at the top by a helmet adorned with plumage, in the left quarter the arms of the Ossorio, two rampant wolves, and in the right those of the Rodríguez de Sanabria, four fleurs-de-lis arranged between cross or cross of San Andrés, this being the current coat of arms of this Villa. As the most prominent member of this family, Mer Rodríguez de Sanabria, squire of King Don Pedro I "El Cruel".
