Little Hell Rd is 15kms south of Melrose, on the Germain Gorge Rd in the locality of Bangor. Little Hell was a short cut through the Flinders Ranges, and was so named because of the extraordinary difficulty in crossing the range.In this piece of rough country it is one of the "short cuts" which, in the end, prove to be the longest way round
