About the Paaskerk:

"Commission, design and construction
The building was designed by architect Sytze Wierda, commissioned by Prince Hendrik, who also made the land available. He had determined that it had to be a monumental church. This has led to the rich detailing compared to other Reformed churches. Because the prince did not want the villa residents to be disturbed on Sunday morning, the church was not given any loud bells. According to the first stone, with the inscription Ds A.H. Gezelle Meerburg 21 oct 1880, it was laid by Alettinus Hendrikus Gezelle Meerburg, who had come over from Almkerk as a minister about a year before. The dedication took place on June 22, 1881.

Architecture
The church had a cross-shaped plan when it was built. In 1904 several spaces were added to the rear under the supervision of architect Tjeerd Kuipers. In that year a second transept was also added at the height of the choir. During a major renovation in 1996, the church was connected to the Het Brandpunt conference center via a meeting room.

The tower consists of three sections. The main entrance has a round-arched porch, the second floor has a rose window. The third section has round arch windows. At the foot of the spire is a circulation, the octagonal spire is covered with slates. On either side of the main tower are smaller towers."
