Photos taken on 18 January 2022. The memorial consists of a larger black granite monument, slanted at about 35 degrees. It's located in the southern end of the park, near the electrical vehicle chargers.

The marker reads, "This monument stands as a tribute to the Department of Defense civilians, military service members, and support contractors of Aberdeen Proving Ground and the former Edgewood Arsenal who lost their lives during the conduct of their missions.
We honor their lives and contributions to our national defense. Each gave the last full measure of devotion while performing their duties. Our community is forever grateful. May these family members, friends and colleagues forever rest in peace.

Dedicated this 3rd day of May 2017 during the 100th anniversary celebration of Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood Arsenal.
