The Erlebnispfad is a hiking path in the area of Bingen. The hiking path is built as an educational path for children. Several stages gives information about the plants and animals living in a forest, but also the remains of the Roman empire which can be found here are explained. The path has to cross the canyon of a small brook. This canyon is passed using a plank-bridge. Although the brook is small, the canyon is deep (About 25 feet). This requires the bridge to be relatively large, but the unsteady nature of a rope-bridge is an additional "adventure" for kids.
Be careful, the bridge is made of wood and steep at the beginning and and of it. It may be slippery!
