Windkracht is een abstract bronzen sculptuur, maar waar geen twijfel over bestaat wat het voorstelt: een sterke wind heeft vat gekregen op een grote bronzen flap. Staand op twee punten probeert de vorm weerstand te bieden aan de flinke windvlaag. Er lijkt zich wel een menselijke figuur in te verschuilen.
Pépé Grégoire zoekt graag naar tegenstellingen van balans en disbalans. Hij werkt zowel figuratief als abstract. Beide aspecten zijn in dit beeld waar te nemen.
Het beeld is een schenking van het Zuiveringsschap Veluwe ter gelegenheid van de in gebruikname van de nieuwe waterzuiveringsinstallatie aan de Dwarsweg.

Windkracht is an abstract bronze sculpture, but of which there is no doubt what it represents: a strong wind has taken hold of a large bronze flap. Standing on two points, the shape tries to resist the strong gust of wind. There seems to be a human figure hiding in it.
Pépé Grégoire likes to look for opposites of balance and imbalance. He works both figuratively and abstractly. Both aspects can be seen in this image.
The statue is a gift from the Zuiveringsschap Veluwe on the occasion of the opening of the new water treatment plant on Dwarsweg.
