Built: 1930

This is the former 6th District Police Station.

The Sixth District includes the neighborhoods of Baden, Mark Twain, Mark Twain/I-70 Industrial, North Point, North Riverfront, O’Fallon, O’Fallon Park, Penrose, Penrose Park, Riverview, Walnut Park East, Walnut Park West and portions of College Hill, Fairgrounds, Greater Ville, Kingsway East and Near North Riverfront.

Today is is owned by UJAMAA Corporation

This is a historic building, yet, I cannot find any information of the building, construction was 1930, but little else of this structure.
Current owners bought the building for $10.00, yep ten dollars on a quick claim deed.

I have had NO problems with taking photos of Police stations but please respect the fact that some services may be nervous about having their photo taken and inquire as to why... I have found that once things are explained they are more than happy to let me photograph the building, crest, chief... (they are people too!)
