Capt John Holliday born, the son of William Holliday Sr. of Pennsylvania, November 26, 1749. He was a Revolutionary War veteran, captured by British in November 1776, and exchanged as a prisoner in 1778. Date of death, August 19, 1823 (aged 73). He is buried at the Holliday Burial Ground, Gaysport, Blair County, Pennsylvania, USA.
