Federal Way High School student, Austin Long, built this interpretive kiosk at the Brooklake Blueberry Farm for his Eagle Scout project. The farm site is adjacent to the Hylebos Wetlands and is the location of a long-running restoration project by the "Friends of Hylebos Wetlands".

Using a grant from the Department of Ecology's Centennial Fund, the city purchased the materials, and paid for the display boards. King built the structure and "Friends" and city staff designed the display boards. The project was completed November of 2006.

One panel of the board discusses the Brooklake Blueberry Farm project and other restoration projects around the Hylebos watershed. The other describes the wetland habitat restoration efforts, and many facets of watershed ecology.
