esp: "Hace unos 100.000 años, un impresionante glaciar con lenguas de hielo de más de 20 kilómetros creó el actual lago de Sanabria. Con una extensión de 4,5 km2 y una profundidad que alcanza los 53 metros es el lago natural más grande de la Península Ibérica y uno de los mayores de Europa. El lago y su entorno están protegidos como parque natural que también alberga otras lagunas menores. Se halla en la provincia de Zamora."

With an area of 4.5 km2 and a depth that reaches 53 meters, it is the largest natural lake in the Iberian Peninsula and one of the largest in Europe.
